Johnny Tapia 1967-2012
Five-time boxing champion, Johnny Tapia was found dead by one of his family members on May 27th in his Albuquerque home. He was 45 years old. Throughout Tapia’s career he had struggled with drug/alcohol addiction along with depression. There has not been an official cause of death reported. There will be an autopsy preformed within the next few days.
